I continued playing at Ultimatebet, and I never lost my last $42 dollars. I made another $43 over the period, and I got an affiliate payment to bridge me over $100. I eventually got fed up because I was the only person who was ever deep stacked at the .10-.25 level. Everyone was playing the same short stack strategy, and it was, quite honestly, just boring.
I'd originally wanted to move to PokerStars, but they require you social security number for E-Checks. After shopping around, I saw that FTP didn't require it. There's no way in hell I'll ever give my social to a poker site, so I decided to go with Full Tilt. In addition, they've got deep stack tables which makes the play much, much, much more interesting.
I knew I wasn't very lucky there before (as it is the only site I'm not a net winner), but I figured that I just wasn't as good a player as I am now. Now I'm not so sure. I've played 1,142 hands, and this is what has happened to me. I'm only down $25 which is a moral victory, but It's been SICK.
I've had KK 8 times, 3 of those times another player had AA. The other time, I was drawn out on by Q9 offsuit. I've also lost AQ to KQ when another player had a bigger full house than me. Those were five stack killer hands, and they happened in 1,142 hands. I'm trying to be patient and work through it, but it's tough. Here are the hands.
Hand 1: Boring AA vs KK
My only question is what the heck was the guy with AK thinking?

Hand 3: AA vs KK. He made a pretty good play here, but the money goes in regardless.
He simply called my KK on the flop. There's three in a row on the flop. He bets, and I raise him. I don't want to see another card. He reraises me.
What's his rush? He doesn't have a straight because he would've probably just called hoping for me to push the action. He also has a vulnerable hand. What is it? It is a pair of QQ? Would trips push back so hard? Maybe, given the straight possibilities. It can't be AA. Not again. That's preposterous. If he's got trips, I'll just pay him off. AA. WTF?!?!! Maybe not so preposterous after all...

Hand 5: This one absolutely ruined my morning.
I didn't reraise preflop because I was out of position. I didn't want to build a huge pot knowing I would have to hit the flop in order to go further. No other commentary is really needed.
